The process at a glance:
- Contact with cooperating institution:
– We check all relevant findings of the patient in accordance with the law (Tissue Safety Act – GSG).
– Required information such as infection values according to GSG, spermiogram, histological findings, etc. must be provided.
– Details of the cryopreservation method, freeze-thaw protocols, and number of cryogenic samples transported are required.
- Conclusion:
– Before the planned transport, a contract is concluded with the patients.
- Transportation options:
– Laboratory staff of the fertility clinic can carry out the transport, if desired.
– Patients can also transport the samples themselves.
– External transport companies can be commissioned. A transport cryogenic container can be provided by us if required. A security deposit is required in advance.
- Receipt and confirmation:
– After receiving the samples, we will confirm the correct receipt according to the contract.
– The completeness of the documentation is checked before the samples are transferred to our cryogenic tanks.
