Individual treatments.
Kinderwunsch Graz.
Your path to the desired child or the type of treatment that is optimal for you depends on the cause of your fertility problem, the success of your previous treatments and your personal preferences.
Ovulation induction
Cycle monitoring, ovulation and timed intercourse are typically used in patients who have irregular ovulation or in whom no organic reason for non-occurrence of pregnancy can be determined (with previously known means) (idiopathic infertility).
Intrauterine insemination (IUI)
Transfer of the processed sperm of the partner or a sperm donor to the uterine cavity at the right time in the female cycle is an elegant technique for fertility treatment that can be successfully used in some couples – Kinderwunsch Graz.
Artificial insemination: IVF, ICSI, PICSI and Co.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) / Artificial insemination as a term encompasses all assisted reproduction techniques in which eggs and sperm are brought together outside the body in order to achieve their fusion or fertilization.
Cryopreservation – Embryo
If you have had a previous IVF/ICSI cycle in which your surplus embryos of good quality have been frozen (vitrified), the preparation of these embryos for a later embryo transfer is quite straightforward.
Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGT-A, PGT-SR, PGT-M)
In specific clinical situations clearly defined by the Reproductive Medicine Act (FMedG), it is allowed and possible to genetically analyze a small number of embryonic cells before the embryo is placed in the uterine cavity.
Polar body biopsy
If preimplantation testing is not permitted or desired, it is possible to carry out an indirect genetic analysis of the maternal genome from a polar body .
Sperm donation
If donated sperm cells need to be used, we can use them for intrauterine insemination (IUI) or for a type of artificial insemination.
Egg donation
Donor eggs can be used for women who do not have eggs or whose number of eggs has reached a critically low level (i.e. who no longer have functional eggs).
Diagnosis and therapy of fertilization failure
There are several additional laboratory methods that can be used to try to overcome fertilization failure.
Diagnostics and therapy for implantation failure
If implantation fails after several embryo transfers of “good” embryos, additional diagnostic and subsequent therapeutic measures should be introduced. We will do our best to determine the cause of your problem and, if possible, to personalize your treatment, if possible according to the state of the art. Kinderwunsch Graz.
